Do I need to clean out my glass before I recycle it?
No, cleaning your glass is not required. During the recycling process, it will be cleaned.
What should I do with broken or shattered glass?
We can recycle broken glass. Make sure that the broken glass is not sticking out at the top of the bag for the safety of our glass collectors.
What kinds of glass can be recycled?
We can recycle all kinds of glass besides window panes, pyrex, ceramics, and light bulbs.
Where do I put my glass bag for recycling?
Place your bag on your doorstep and we will pick it up from there.
Can I recycle colored glass?
Yes, we take colored glass.
How often will you pick up the glass?
Glass Roots Recycling picks up glass every fourth Saturday of the month.
What will you use to collect the glass?
We provide a reusable bag for you to put your glass waste in for pick-up.
Do you accept glass from commercial businesses?
Yes, we accept glass from individuals, households, and businesses.
What happens to the glass you recycle?
